Dazhao is a Buddhist
monastery located in
southwestern Hohhot.
First established in
1579, this large temple
complex is the oldest in
Hohhot and has been
renovated many times
over the centuries. The
main hall houses a
sacred silver statue of
the Sakyamuni Buddha. |
