This
is my first trip to China, which tour do you think I should
take?
There are two reasons when you make the choice; one is time while the other
one is money. If you don't have so much time, the tours of
HQCT-C01、HQCT-C02、HQCT-C03、HQCT-C04、HQCT-C05、HQCT-C11 are the best, which cover the most interesting places
in China and need only about 8-20 days. If you choose
HQCT-C01、HQCT-C02、HQCT-C03、HQCT-C04、HQCT-C05, you
can visit Beijing, Xian, Shanghai,Guilin and only need 8-10 days.
HQCT-C03 or
HQCT-C06 on Yangtze River Tour is very attractive one because of the Three
Gorges of Yangtze River, where you can completely relax yourself while
enjoying the picturesque natural sights and historical relics, and you will
find it quite worthwhile. If you are pressing for time
and just happened to be in Beijing, you can consider our
Beijing Tours, which has a
carefully chosen list of tours in Beijing and the surrounding areas, from
one to several days. If you prefer to spend more money on your tour,
you can stay at the most deluxe hotels (top five star hotel), otherwise you
can choose four star or three star hotels. Of course,
whichever hotels you choose to stay, you will
always enjoy the same high quality

insurance necessary?

policies with your insurance agent. We strongly urge every client to purchase travelers' insurance. |

What to
pack for my trip to China?
We strongly suggest you PACK LIGHT and bring casual
clothes. Laundry service is available in most hotels with reasonable
charges. Plastic bags are convenient for separating laundry or wet clothes
in suitcases. To dress for comfort is much more important than anything else
during your trip. Here is the checklist:
A pair of sturdy, comfortable walking
shoes.
A sports jacket and tie for men, and
one or two dresses or pantsuits for women, will suit the most formal
occasions while in China (especially on a Yangtze River Cruise).
Sweaters, shirts and jackets that can
be layered to suit a range of climates.
A lightweight raincoat.
Warm woolen clothing, down overcoat,
hat and gloves are recommended if you travel in winter season. Cottons are
the best in summer time.
Electrical converter and adapter
plugs. China's electrical system operates at 220 volts.
Hair dryer, razor, alarm clock.
Common toiletries, pocket--size
tissue, lip balm, sun--tan lotion and sun glasses.
Camera, films and extra batteries.
Negatives with regular speed are available in most places, slides can be
difficult to find.
Reading materials, including a
guidebook about the places you will visit.
A notebook to log your travel
journals. |

What is
the baggage allowance?
Baggage allowance differs from
international and China domestic flights; and varies between carriers. In
general, transpacific flights allow two pieces of check-in luggage per
person. For China domestic flights, only one piece of check-in luggage (no
more than 44 pounds or 20 kg) is allowed. One standard carry-on is allowed
per person for both international and China domestic flights. We recommend
that you pack a duffel bag in your suitcase to use as an additional piece of
luggage for your return flight home. If you do travel with more than one
piece per person, a fee may be imposed for extra piece of excessive weight.
All baggage should be locked while traveling. |
|
Can I
drink the tap water in China?
No. You can use the tap water to brush your teeth. We
recommend that you drink only bottled water or boiled water. Bottled water
is available at hotels and local stores. |
|
How
should I book my tour, what about deposits, payments and
refunds?
When we finish discussing the itinerary,
a deposit of US$400 per person is required in order to confirm all services
in China. Final payment is due 45 days prior to international arrival in
China. If you cancel your tour prior to the scheduled tour arrival, a US$200
cancellation fee will be charged. |

Suppose we really like a certain city and wanted to stay an
extra day and juggle the schedule in a minor way.
It's better not to do so because we
issue the air, train, and cruise tickets and hotels in advance. Sometimes it
is very difficult to reserve the new tickets and the hotels especially at
the peak tour seasons. As far as we know, the hotels have different stars
and costs. If you gave a sudden change of the schedule, we should rearrange
your unfinished itinerary, the loss of transportation and the hotel or the
difference could happen. All these occurred are your responsibility. |
